Good solid SUV
By GrandMesa | on Saturday, July 13, 2019
Solid, reliable vehicle. Nice creature comforts. Only ding on this vehicle is the reliability of the fuel pump. GM has had this issue for years and never changes the design to make it more reliable. I've driven it since new for work, and at 97,000 miles it has crapped out 2 fuel pumps. 1 at about 50,000 and recently at 96,000. It is a $1,000 repair bill to replace it, not a do-it-yourself project either. You have to pull the fuel tank off to access the fuel pump module in the top of the tank. Not an easy fix w/o proper gear.… - 1.0
Great if you like a shower while driving
By GMsucks | on Sunday, November 04, 2018
I traded my 2016 JKUR for this truck because the Jeep couldn't get out of its own way. The RST edition is great for performance. I love the 6.2L V8 and 10 speed Auto, but less than a month of owning it the antenna leaked and got water all over the front passenger seat. Dealership fixed it under warranty and said it would never happen again. Now four months after the fix its doing it again. I looked up the issue and it has been a problem for a few years. It seems like GM can't figure it out. So if you like a shower while driving, mold growing in your overpriced SUV, and future electrical problems go for it. As for me I will never buy a new Chevy again.… - 4.0
My favorite vehicle that I've owned
By Timo | on Wednesday, June 16, 2021
I have owned many vehicles in my life and this is my favorite. The feel, ride and comfort is awesome. The mileage is pretty good around town, 15 or so, and excellent on the highway, 20-25, with the 6 speed transmission and switching to 4 cylinder mode. No major issues since I bought it new. 1 minor problem with the driver seat clicking when going around a curve. Had it in to the dealer several times and the fix (torque the bolts) only lasts a month or two. There is a tech bulletin on it but I gave up and just live with it. The only other negative is the outside rear view mirrors are small for such a big vehicle. I will be buying another Tahoe in the future.…
