The First Ever 2024 Silverado EV
The Chevy Silverado EV is all new for 2024 and offers truck lovers the opportunity to have their cake and eat it too. There is no compromising performance for zero emissions. The Silverado EV has more in common with the iconic Hummer EV than the original Silverado because it shares the same body and chassis as the large overlanding electric SUV. You can expect impressive capabilities, spacious accommodations, and high-tech amenities for the first-ever Chevy Silverado EV.
For its inaugural year, the Chevy Silverado EV will be available for fleet use as a Work Truck and personal indulgence as a special edition RST model. You'll be able to lease a new model and take advantage of all available incentives and perks of going electric.
Pure Electric, Pure Power, Pure Efficiency
The Silverado EV shares many of the same great features of the classic pickup truck and offers the utility you expect. However, some tricks up its sleeve make it a new and exciting option for truck lovers. Not only does the Silverado EV have a truck bed, but it also incorporates a midgate design, allowing you to expand the cargo hold into the full-size cabin. There is plenty of room for five adults to sit comfortably in both rows and a large middle storage compartment. The Work Truck versions of the Silverado EV will have a practical interior with durable materials, and the higher-end RST trim will have fancier upgrades like two-toned leather upholstery, a gorgeous fixed glass roof, and eye-catching details like red piping along the seat seams.

The Silverado EV's impressive capabilities come from the innovative 200-kilowatt-hour battery pack, made possible by GM's Ultium battery technology. The Silverado EV is powerful and fast, with an impressive range of up to 400 miles on a fully charged battery pack. It also has fast-charging capabilities that allow it to regain 100 miles of range in just 10 minutes at a DC public charging station. The battery pack is large enough to turn the Silverado EV into a home generator that can power your house for up to 21 days if there is ever a blackout in your neighborhood.
Dual electric motors provide standard all-wheel drive, but rear-wheel drive and an adaptive air suspension are optional if you want to prioritize range and ride comfort. Not only can it tow up to 10,000 pounds and handle payloads up to 1,440 pounds, but it also boasts a power output of up to 754 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque (better than any gas or diesel engine). Acceleration is nearly instantaneous, launching the full-size truck from zero to 60 mph in just 5.4 seconds.
On the technology front, the Silverado EV earns its futuristic appeal with a massive, digitized center console. The standard setup is an 11.0-inch infotainment touchscreen paired with an 8-inch digital gauge cluster, but the RST has an enormous 17-inch touchscreen and an 11-inch digital driver display.
